Land Mine Effects is a small pedal workshop based in East Tennessee.
Every pedal is hand-built, tested, and assembled one (well, occasionally two) at a time.
The focus is on unusual sounds—the kinds of noise that make a dog tilt its head.
There are also practical modifications in LMFX builds, like adding expression pedal jacks and Bluetooth controls, thus bringing modern technological life to age-old, analog circuits.
Land Mine Effects builds to encourage both musical and technical experimentation.
The name reflects a love of unpredictable sounds, happy accidents, and the occasional flying shrapnel and plume of smoke.
